The competition of business projects, which in 2008 celebrates its sixteenth edition, again to promote business initiatives, while giving strong support to the implementation or release of the most prominent.

Murcia City Council is aware of the importance of entrepreneurship for economic recovery and employment, what keeps this goal, together with other projects through the contest that celebrates the Department of Youth and Employment.

The total prize fund of 37,863 euros, according to the following breakdown:

First Prize: 18,931 euros or up to 10% of the total expenditure required for the establishment and maintenance of the company during the first year and a scholarship of 3,606 euros for attending the Master Course in Business Administration (MBA), corresponding to the 2009/2010 edition, awarded by the University-Enterprise.

Second Prize: 12,621 euros or up to 4% of total expenditure required for the establishment and maintenance of the company's first year, and a scholarship of 1,502 euros to assist SMEs Management Course, for the 2009/2010 edition granted by the Fundación Universidad-Empresa.

Third Prize: 6,310 euros or up to 2% of total expenditure required for the establishment and maintenance of the company during the first year.

All participants whose projects have been considered viable will benefit from the Advisory Service of the Fundación Universidad-Empresa.

The deadline starts with the publication in the local press announcement of the call and ending on August 31, 2008.

The selection of projects is made according to following procedure:

Phase 1: Study of the draft submitted by the developer, which will analyze the feasibility, in particular:

Level of development.

• Difficulty of the project.

· Place of implementation.

· Temperament innovative.

Creation of jobs.

Phase 2: Personal interview in order to ascertain the following particulars concerning the sponsor or sponsors:

· Training.

• Experience working / professional.

• Knowledge of product / market.

• Knowledge of the activities / processes.

· Grounds.
