The environment of the Artillery Barracks will have a park and ride buses, specially designed for tourists, but also private cars may park.
This is a space where they can leave the tourists buses without entering the city center and blocking the traffic.
The site, about 10,000 square meters, is on land formerly occupied by the factory's Wife (La Purisima-Barriomar), next to motorway access and the artillery barracks.
The Board of Governors has approved early today to accept the transfer of 7,000 square meters of land in this area for the construction of the park.
These 7,000 square meters are added 3,000 with those who already had the Consistory in the same area.
This idea is to allow the tour buses do not collapse Cartagena street or park in La Glorieta, because there are many visitors who come to the Artillery Barracks and the historic city center.
The park will have capacity for 60 buses and 200 cars.
The parking deterrent will be completed in late May.
