The Deputy Mayor of Education and Staff of the City of Murcia, Pilar Megía, presided this morning the closing of the General Assembly of the Federation of Associations of Parents of Pupils and Students of the Municipality of Murcia.
During his speech, the council has highlighted the important work being carried out by AMPAS in schools in the municipality of Murcia, they are encouraging participation by promoting the training, organizing, supporting and complementary activities aimed at schoolchildren.
"From the city of Murcia are making a bet that decided to empower the work carried out by AMPAS of the municipality.
Therefore, we offer a line of annual subsidies to encourage participation and promote the formation of associations and federations to actively who help in the organization and management of schools. "
Pilar Megía has praised the active participation of partnerships for quality education and equal opportunities for all.
The General Assembly of the Federation took place this morning in the IES "La Basilica" Algezares, located in Calle Ramón y Cajal of the hamlet.
The Federation is made up of 85 associations in the municipality of Murcia, which comprises more than 16,000 parents.

Draft action plan for this exercise.
Presentation of the book on techniques for energizing the AMPAS.
