Tourism organizes activities with the sister city of Lodz (29/05/2008)

The Councillor of Tourism, Maria Isabel Valcarcel, and the Honorary Consul of Poland, Jorge Matias Zieleniewski, have agreed to organize activities between the cities of Murcia and Lodz (Poland).

These two are sister cities since 1999 and already Exchanges.

The objective of this initiative is to promote cultural exchanges, students, youth, and the participation of folk groups in festivals.

Lodz is the second largest city in Poland.

It has the largest textile industry in Poland as well as chemicals and metal items.

Is his famous film school, where they studied filmmakers like Roman Polanski.
