The City Museum is hosting an exhibition that celebrates the figure of Saavedra Fajardo (29/04/2008)

The councilman of Culture, Fátima Barnuevo, will open this afternoon at the City Museum, at 20 hours, the exhibition 'Painters Murcia in times of Saavedra Fajardo. "

This exhibition features contemporary paintings by artists from Murcia to the diplomat, such as Pedro Orent, Lorenzo Suárez, Nicolás Villacis, Matthew Gilart and Senen Vila.

The catalog includes texts of the late Manuel Muñoz Barberán which were collected in 1996 in the book 'Know Quantos', published by Editions Almudí Hall.

The exhibition, organized to commemorate the 360 anniversary of the death of Saavedra Fajardo, will be open until next June 22.
