The hamlet of New Javalí participate as a guest on the Garden Week is celebrated during the month of August in Los Alcazares.
The Councillor of Tourism, Maria Isabel Valcárcel, met with the headman of the village, Ana del Pilar Martin, to begin work on the stand to install the Municipal Board in Los Alcazares.
New Javalí's booth will feature information about the hamlet and that this initiative is to promote the town.
The products of the land, traditions and businesses in the hamlet are some of the things that can be known.
The stand will display a video with the customs of New Javalí and major events like the July festivals, religious celebrations in honor of the Sacred Heart in May, the Easter processions, carnival and flea market traditions.
Also, the Municipal Board intends to present in the Week Huerta a book to be published soon on the history of the hamlet, from prehistory to the present.
The rock the fork of New Javalí actively participates every year in the Garden Week in Los Alcazares installing a shed.
