The Department of Environment and Urban Quality plant in only ten days more than 70 trees (02/05/2008)

The campaign "Plant for Murcia, Plant for the Planet 'has begun apace.

In just ten days from April 21, the Department of Environment and Urban Quality has planted a total of 71 trees.

These plantations have been made in the Plaza Juan XXIII, Hope street, Calle San Antón, Augustine Plaza, Santiago and Zaraíche, Algezares and Aljucer.

Target species have been orange, mulberry trees, ficus, and celtis ligustrum.

With the campaign "Plant for Murcia, Plant for the Planet ', the Council aims to plant at least 12,000 trees in the remainder of the year.
