The CEIP Saavedra Fajardo in the hamlet of Algezares Murcia hosts this week a host of recreational and cultural activities for the entire educational community.
The Deputy Mayor of Education and Personal, Pilar Megía, this morning has been responsible for opening the center IX Cultural Week, which this year focuses on the Murcia Region with the objective of the 180 students from center know in depth the rich culture of the region in which they live.
During his speech, Pillar Megía has announced that the City of Murcia will carry out an important work of improvement and rehabilitation in the school.
Works to be undertaken during the summer months and will focus on improving the lighting and interior and exterior appearance of the center, among other actions.
Megía also noted that this celebration coincides with the commemoration of 360 anniversary of the famous Murcia, Saavedra Fajardo.
