The Department of street cleaning and waste collection continues to work to remove containers from the surface.

Three more routes have stopped showing these containers: Merced Street, New Gate and Enrique Villar.

In the first two has been installed about two containers on the street while Enrique Villar are two points of two containers.

Now the council is considering whether it is feasible to create another 78 points and buried over there to check it must first check that the ground does not contain any element that has to be conserved.

Some of these possible locations are Plaza de la Cruz, Plaza of the Apostles, Santa Teresa and baritone Marcos Redondo.

What he wants the City Council with this initiative is to eliminate the presence of these containers in the road surface, especially in the historic and commercial center of the city where, in addition, the narrow streets difficult to locate a suitable site for waste repositories.

With the burial of the containers are able to diminish the visual impact, increase free space on public roads and minimize the inconvenience caused by waste.

The installation of each one of the underground civil work consists of excavation and construction of concrete pit, hydraulic platform to raise and lower vessels, hydraulic cover a specific mailbox for each container and two containers.

Besides these, other means are required since it is necessary to adapt this service vehicles currently in service by attaching a power system capable of raising platforms and containers coming to the collection of waste.
