Pelegrín prepared with Senior center activities for next year (22/05/2008)

The Deputy Mayor of Social Welfare, Maria del Carmen Pelegrin, met this morning with the president and members of the Federation of Senior Centers in the municipality of Murcia, with whom he has begun preparing for next year activities.

The next event is planned is the election of the year Grandma and Grandpa, event held on 30 May.

Within this interview, the elders have set out its proposals to continue promoting the activity of the Centres for the Elderly, and the Councillor has indicated its willingness to support such initiatives with the resources available to the City Council.

The meeting was attended by the President of the Federation of Senior Citizens, Simon Parraga, also president of the Center of Rincon de Seca, "the president of the Senior Center Stables, Carmen Martinez, the chairman of the Senior Center San Juan, Santa Eulalia and the president of the Center for Llano de Brujas.
