The life of Saavedra Fajardo paper (13/05/2008)

To complement the exhibition "Saavedra Fajardo.

Dream of peace, dreaming Europe ', which these days occupies the ground floor of the Palace Almudí, the Department of Culture has organized an exhibition with bibliographic documents belonging to the Municipal Archives related to the figure of diplomatic Murcia.

'Diego de Saavedra Fajardo (1584-1648).

Documents and literature of an age 'includes more than sixty publications that show the importance of the work of the distinguished Murcia.

So, show the most outstanding printed works of Saavedra Fajardo, like 'The political business', handwritten letters, like the one sent to the City of Murcia where communicated its participation in the Congress of Münster, and even the cards that sent him from the council.

It also lists other documents contemporary authors diplomat Murcia Murcia as Francisco Cascales and Salvador Jacinto Polo de Medina.
