The Department of Tourism of the City of Murcia and the Sardine Association will hold a tourist brochure on the Burial of the Sardine to promote the party.
The brochure will include all the acts of the sardine with high quality images so that visitors can get an idea of the party.
Furthermore, the texts are written in Castilian and English.
The images of the booklet are the photographer Israel Crespo, the design will be in charge of Elvira Cánovas and text by José María Galiana.
The brochure will be completed later this year.
The brochure will know the origin of this festival, which celebrated 157 years, and data on the groups participating in parades, as well as anecdotes and historical facts.
It also reports on the Sardine Museum Association, located in the artillery barracks, where you can learn the history of this event.
A group of representatives of the Sardine Association, headed by its President, Ismael Gonzalez, met this morning with the Councillor of Tourism, Maria Isabel Valcárcel, to discuss the tourist brochure.
They have also announced the presence of sardine groups and a representation of the Burial of the Sardine in Tourism Fair to be held in Madrid (FITUR) early next year to promote this event.
