The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, accompanied by the Head of Sports, Miguel Cascales, I will attend the Ibero-American Summit of Physical Education and School Sport to be held in Havana from 28 to 31 May.
Chamber will present a paper on school sport and Olympism in Murcia.
In his speech will speak about the projects promoted by the city of Murcia in sport, especially the school sports program which each year attracted about 70,000 children.
The mayor also made an analysis of the relationship of Murcia with the Olympic movement, focusing on the upcoming launch of the Olympic Sports Center.
Also during the delegation's stay in Cuba is expected Murcia contacts with Cuban sports officials to conclude a cooperation agreement to develop sports projects, targeted at children.
Additionally, the impetus to address the construction of school sports facilities in areas with lack thereof.
