The Department of Health and the Federation of Neighborhood Associations and encourage neighbors to join groups to go (20/05/2008)

The Department of Health and the Federation of City Neighborhood Associations have been proposed that the residents of Murcia improve their health monitor organizing groups to go to walk four afternoons a week.

This activity is part of the campaign '4 / 40 Take Care of Your Health 'of the Department of Health, which runs Fulgencio Cervantes, which aims to encourage residents to walk four days a week 40 minutes each day to improve your health, reduce cardiovascular disease, reduce high blood pressure, cholesterol, obesity, overweight, increase flexibility and improve bone-related diseases and diabetes.

The Federation of Neighborhood Associations of Municipalities and Health have created groups to which citizens can come together to walk in the mornings or afternoons.

The first route, led by a monitor, was launched yesterday by the Malecon.

Councilman Councilman Health and Popular Culture, Rafael Gomez, participated yesterday in the activity.

This is a group of up to 20 people that meets every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday to walk in the morning from 8.00 to 8.40 pm or later, from 20.30 to 21.10 hours.

During the fall / winter afternoons will be advanced from 20.00 to 20.40 hours.

During the period from 1 July to 30 September, the activity will not be made unless there is an interest group.

Participate in this activity is free and registration should contact the Federation of Neighborhood Associations of the municipality.
