Our young art shows in Europe (19/05/2008)

Eleven young artists representing Murcia at the XIII Biennial of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean to be held in the Italian city of Bari from 22 to 31 May.

A total of 700 artists participating in this year's event, attended by 68 representatives Spanish.

Murcia City Council, through the Department of Youth and Employment, headed Dolores Sanchez, committed to promoting the creativity of young people from Murcia, and therefore supports their participation in this event.

About 50 European and Mediterranean countries are represented at this meeting in which they stage different forms of artistic creativity of young generations.

Juan Enrique Sánchez Aragón (Fine Arts / Painting), Trinidad García Mondéjar (Photography), Ruben Vicente Bautista (Short / Documentary), along with Rebecca and Peter Jesus Atienza Godoy, Raul Martinez and Azor Arias (Food) and the group representing Klaus & Kinski Murcia into this issue.

Over the twelve previous events, the Biennial has established itself as the most important gathering of its kind.

This time is based on creative diversity, and welcomes the artistic areas of Visual Arts, Music, Entertainment, Narration, Applied Arts, Food and moving image.

The Biennale is also a suitable vehicle for building a common senibilidad favorable to the establishment of relations of solidarity and cooperation within Europe and also worldwide.

Over time, the Biennial has become a privileged framework for meeting and mixing of cultural products of the core Mediterranean Europe, the cultures that have been in contact with him thanks to migration and the media beyond the territorial proximity.

The showcase of new creatives in the strategy of the trends of young art, the Biennial, has made a big bet on the plan of ideas and cultural commitment to attend the institutions and associations.

The Biennial has shown that the field of art is one of the priorities of youth ceradores, both in terms of production and training, and helped to reinforce the idea that young people get through the forms of art and creative ability to communicate ever more evident and deeply rooted on the basis that it can propose a permanent artistic and cultural dialogue between countries of Europe.
