The University of Murcia held tomorrow, Friday the 29th, at 11:30 hours, at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Espinardo campus, the academic ceremony on the occasion of the feast of St. Thomas Aquinas, patron of universities.
During the ceremony, chairman of the rector of the University, José Orihuela, proceed to the investiture of the philosopher and teacher of ethics Adela Cortina as a doctor honoris causa of this educational institution.
During the inauguration act professor of the Faculty of Philosophy Emilio Martinez Navarro as godfather.
The event, which will be entertained by the music of the Choir and Orchestra of Murcia University, will include delivery of final year and extraordinary doctoral awards.
It also will be held the investiture of new doctors and delivering medals to university staff dedication to the institution that is twenty-five years of service.
