About 600 people have gathered this afternoon at the Temple of the Monastery of Jeronimos to attend conferences on bilingualism organized by the Department of Languages ​​of the UCAM, and in which they analyzed the current situation of the sector, future, and their status in the Region of Murcia.

In addition, Thomas Schmidt announced that the UCAM is working to teach the Degree in Translation and Interpretation.

"In the last school year, whether public, charter or private, are not only increasing the hours devoted to the study of English, but they are also introducing this language through bilingual schools in the teaching of other subjects under the methodology of language immersion (CLIL), "said Schmidt, who is also director of the Masters in Bilingual Education offered by the UCAM.

As pointed out, this title is born "by observing gaps in the training of future and current teachers involved in bilingual teaching of English language".

This graduate sits on the proper training in English at level B2 CEFR and certification;

the use of strategies and resources of bilingualism or the application of theories learned during practice in schools.
