The new Parque El Tiro has multipurpose spaces prepared to enjoy older children, walkers and pets (25/01/2016)

The garden has an area of ​​15,000 m2 and has gerontogimnasia equipment, children, agility and a green path which connects to the North Coast.

The Department of Administration Modernization, Urban Quality and Participation develop a plan to improve green areas for families to enjoy them.

The last performances were held in 15 gardens.

The Mayor, accompanied by the councilor responsible for the area, Jose Guillen, visited two of them in the neighborhood of El Carmen and San Andrés

The new Park Shot, El Puntal, offers more than 15,000 m2 for older children, walkers and their pets enjoy the area with spaces specially designed for them.

In some works have consisted enable gerontogimnasia children or recreational areas, install sombrajes, canine reserve spaces for recreation, species plantations or improving pavements.

The Mayor, José Ballesta, accompanied by Councilman Jose Guillen, visited this afternoon two of some of these new infrastructures to personally check the actions taken: the Viudes garden in the neighborhood of El Carmen, and in San Andrés.

In the first of them it has built a canine recreation area of ​​1,000 square meters, separated from the rest of the garden by a fence 1.5 meters high.

Its interior has been equipped with agility equipment for animals, banks, and signaling bag dispenser.

As in the garden Viudes, the City Council in December executed similar works in green areas of Santiago El Mayor, Joven Futura, Callejón del Conde, the Spanish Infantry Avenue and Garden of the Constitution.

In the case of San Andrés, Urban Quality has created a new playground in front of the health center of San Andrés, which involved the renovation of an old abandoned glass pond, whose low walls have been used to generate a continuous bench wood iroko exterior.
