The Official Gazette today published the tender for the procurement of services for the drafting of the works of interceptor storm drain of the northern municipality by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment.
This new infrastructure will mitigate the disturbances produced in the north of the city when specific rainfall events occur.
The action involves the construction of an underground hydraulic structure to collect water from streams and channel it in a controlled manner over nearly seven kilometers of pipeline, from the Rambla de Aguas Churra below the confluence with the ravine of Espinardo- until the Segura River in the area of ​​the Arboleja.
Also includes three side branches: Low Churra, Pago del Obispo and Rambla de Espinardo.
The interceptor, whose implementation is expected within 21 months, be prepared to withstand the maximum flow of 100 cubic meters per second.
You can catch the runoff from all the streams that intersect the main ones being the Espinardo, El Puntal, Churra and Cabeza de Torres.
The tender base budget is 1,796,315 euros and the deadline for submission of bids has been established in February 22
