The Office performs more than 50 Graffiti Graffiti removal performances in its first month of operation (22/01/2016)

The Department of Public Works creates a specific request for Murcia authorize the removal of graffiti on private spaces.

Graffiti Bureau, under the Department of Public Works, has worked tirelessly during the first month after its entry into operation.

Thus, during this first month anti-graffiti brigade has worked 168 hours, using 120 kilograms of paint stripper 240 kilograms and 28,000 liters of water

The Office has handled more than 30 calls about different issues, both as cleaning requests for information about the program, enacted more than 20 requests from other departments or services and 40 inquiries via email or social networks, twitter @ MurciaGrafiti and Facebook OficinaGrafitiMurcia.

A new feature launched this month is the creation of an application form and authorization for any Murcia may request the intervention of the anti-graffiti brigade in a private space, as more than 80% of the actions will take place in buildings , low business ... According to Councilman Development, Roque Ortiz, "the goal is to make at least one wall of graffiti a month, joining other projects allowed to create a museum of graffiti outside, that Murcia is known for this transformation, becoming the capital Spanish art of graffiti ".
