22 varied activities complete the new program information and environmental awareness to the population of Murcia (21/01/2016)

From this January to May 2016, the Department of Planning, Environment and Huerta, has prepared a total of 22 different activities to promote training, awareness and environmental awareness of the population of the municipality of Murcia.

The Town Planning, Antonio Navarro Corchón, has detailed the proposal is composed of "four seminars and workshops nature 11 environmental itineraries and guided tours, and 7 municipal environmental activities of the volunteer program."

Contraparada be another space where activities will take place within this new programming.

"In this environment there will be a practical workshop for anyone interested in nature and art in collaboration with the prestigious photographer Murcia Tomy Ceballos," he announced the head of Huerta.

The Department also held on February 13 a open participatory workshops to all those interested in participating in the design of the contents of future Contraparada Center.

Seminars and workshops in Majal Blanco Nature

4 intense workshops (2 in the Nature Majal Blanco and 2 at the Centre Contraparada) are scheduled in direct contact with two of the most interesting natural environments of the municipality.

Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00 hours are made.

The registration is 5 € (free for children under 17, over 65 and unemployed persons. The participatory workshop February 13 is free).

The workshops are:

-13 February: Meeting face participatory workshop for designing IC content of Contraparada

-5 March: Photography, art and nature in Contraparada with Tomy Ceballos.

-9 April: Traditional uses of herbs: Workshop production of natural perfumes (Majal Blanco)

-21 May: prehistoric Crafts: workshop of flint (Majal Blanco)

Environmental itineraries and guided tours

In this period, 11 activities on Sundays from 10:00 to 14:00 hours, which will bring various sites and environments of environmental interest are scheduled.

-10 April: Geocaching in the White Majal 7 kilometers and medium difficulty

-17 April: Castle Road Monteagudo 7.2 Km and low difficulty

-24 April: Trail SL family MU 15 2.5 km and very low difficulty

-8 May: Walking corner of the Huerta de Murcia (Torreagüera) 3.5 Km and medium difficulty

-22 May: MU PR Ginovinos 94 Path of 5.7 Km and medium-low difficulty.

Environmental Volunteer We pineapple!

Currently volunteering already has a group of 184 people registered through the Volunteer Bureau.

For this period, seven are scheduled activities that take place on Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00.

Scheduled activities include:

-23 January: Planting in the vicinity of the River Segura (works ANSE)

-6 February: Conditioning rafts for amphibians in the Majal Blanco (II)

-27 February: Clean environment-River Segura Huerta de Murcia

-12 March: Conditioning rafts for amphibians in the Majal Blanco (III)

-9 April: Assessment trails Majal Blanco

-23 April: Tracking tracks and signs of mammals in the Majal Blanco

-7 May: Census wildlife in the river environment and orchard (works ANSE)
