It opened the deadline to participate in the national awards for energy.
The Department of Modernization take delivery, through the Local Energy Agency (GER), Murcia applications for submission to the Association of Spanish Agencies Energy Management, EnerAgen.
These awards, which already met its eighth edition and is held annually, is an activity aimed at facilitating their associated achieving their particular purposes agencies and, in any case, to encourage the use of Renewable Energy and the Rational Use Energy and Energy Efficiency throughout the national territory.
The energy agency coordinator of this Eighth Edition 2016, and hosted the awards ceremony of the Awards EnerAgen is the Catalan Energy Institute, ICAEN.
In this eighth edition, those actions undertaken in 2015 under three categories, including the best performance are maintained in energy efficiency and renewable energy and the category of best performance awareness and dissemination will be awarded.
As a novelty, in this eighth edition of 2016, it has been introduced aimed exclusively at the actions promoted by small municipalities of less than 20,000 inhabitants, who have bet significantly to sustainable development and that energy agencies have decided to introduce a specific category in this edition.
The awards will be equipped economically with the amount of 1,500 euros for the winner of each of the three categories.
Stakeholders - individuals, companies, organizations and / or associations - may submit their applications in German, the Local Agency for Energy and Climate Change of the City of Murcia until next February 15.
The best proposals will be evaluated by a specialized jury composed of five representatives of recognized standing in the fields of politics, technology, academia, journalism and business that will consider aspects such as the socio-economic impact, saving or innovation .

ALEM EnerAgen part of an association that brings together the common interests of energy agencies, covering all policy areas, to improve the work of all, exchange information and best practices, as well as having a single voice to represent them, both in nationally and in international forums.
EnerAgen operates in the country and its objectives are:
Promote, strengthen and ensure the role of Agencies Energy Management in all areas of activity.
Promote cooperation between members of the Association.
Develop joint proposals for action in the respective areas of competence.
Ensure an adequate level of training of its members.
Advise new building projects Agencies Energy Management.
Promote coordination of resources and support systems to facilitate citizens access to them.
Do a job information to the various stakeholders in the energy sector.
