Now Murcia requires termination costs Bridge Path of the Garres be met by ADIF (15/01/2016)

Alicia Morales notes with alarm that "Ballesta or go to meetings unprepared and unwilling to accept everything they tell you in Madrid, or -even more serious acts knowing that has negative technical reports"

NOW MURCIA requires that the costs of termination of the work on the bridge of the Path of the Garres be borne by Adif, not by the city of Murcia and the autonomous region, as noted the agreement reached on January 4 between the two government, the Ministry of Development and Adif.

Now the requirement of Murcia is motivated by the documentation that came after the request made by the municipal group to Town Planning, Environment and Huerta, copy of all reports of the planned bridge overpass on the Path of the Garres on the railway line.

In view of these reports are unfavorable, Murcia now registered a motion today to urge the annulment of paragraph 4 January agreement on the vote of the costs of termination Bridge Path of the Garres, to pass to be covered by Adif.

Councillor and spokesman of the municipal formation, Alicia Morales, remember that after the recent meeting in Madrid, the mayor said Ballesta technical reports for the bridge were favorable, but documentation received by Murcia now clearly indicates otherwise.

"This means," says the mayor, "Ballesta either go to meetings unprepared and unwilling to accept everything they tell you in Madrid, either-and what would be even more serious acts knowing that has unfavorable technical reports. Also, do not understand that the mayor accepted that the City had to pay public money with the termination of the contract. "

Reports from the Department of Planning said the projected bridge works are incompatible with the organization provided by the Partial Plan ZM-Dr3 in the north of the track.

They also indicate that they should be studied in conjunction with the municipal officers other solutions that may be compatible with the urban development of the area.

The information analyzed by now Murcia also points out that the width of the sidewalk provisions of the west side of the path of the Garres for the bridge project does not meet the minimum width required, nor meets the established maximum slope.

Moreover, the documentation admits that "it is not clear that the solution adopted to solve the junction of the new road with the current path of the Garres is adequate" and "not studied the importance of bicycle traffic."

Reports also indicate that "for the design of the firm, the data should have been studied, not estimated, for the proper development of the proposed solution," while "the solution adopted in plant design is not considered appropriate".

Additionally, the documentation states that "it is noted that there is little definition in the plans submitted, not consisting in the document any signaling plane" and that "no roundabouts raised its center coincident with the axis of the concurrent vials, may generate dangerous situations to give continuity to the path of Garres in straight section ".

For all this, Morales said that "Now Murcia understands that there is no municipal report favorable to the project ADIF for the suppression of level crossing Path of the Garres by bridge or evidence that the serious deficiencies identified in the reports issued by the municipal officers they have been remedied by ADIF itself. "

The municipal group spokesman stressed that "despite all these technical deficiencies identified by the City of Murcia reports that were sent to ADIF, in the resolution adopted last January 4, voted for by the mayor and the Town Planning , it indicated that the works 'were favorably reported by the local and regional governments' assertion that as we have seen, does not conform to reality, since in the existing documentation in the Department of Planning no favorable report to that draft".

Given all this, Morales said that "we can not understand or accept that the city of Murcia has to bear the costs of terminating a contract signed by a different Murcia High Speed and outside the Corporation society, but even less, the excuse to cover these costs is the alleged existence of favorable research that has shown that it is not true, because these reports were never issued a favorable character.
