Public universities in the region have signed with the unions on collective agreement contracted teaching (23/12/2015)

The rectors of the universities of Murcia (UMU) and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), José Orihuela and José Antonio Franco, respectively, have signed today with union representatives the collective agreement II teaching and research staff (PDI) hired.

The document, which was approved earlier by the governing boards of both institutions, affecting more than a thousand and media workers and has a validity period which will run from January 1, 2016 until January 31, 2020 .

The agreement was signed in the building of convalescence, home of the Rector of the University of Murcia, by the CCOO, FETE-UGT, CSI-F and SIME unions.

At the signing ceremony was also attended by the vice-chancellors of both universities Faculty of Jose Angel Lopez (UMU) and Angel Lopez (UPCT).
