Fripozo and chefs from the region will feed 400 people for Christmas in Jesus Forsaken (18/12/2015)

The degree in Gastronomy UCAM collaborates in this activity

On Monday 21 December the food company and sponsor of the Degree in Gastronomy of the Catholic University of Murcia, held a charity Fripozo menu on Jesus Forsaken Foundation.

The food, which serve more than 400 people, will start serving at 12:30 pm, will feature products of the organizing company and will be conducted by some of the finest chefs in the region of Murcia, accompanied by teachers and Grade students.

The menu is divided both Jesus Forsaken Foundation of Santa Catalina, as in the social room of Murcia which has the Foundation.

The menu will consist of an appetizer of shrimp bag and Cajun chicken strips, followed by a Caesar type salad with chicken and cheese crocantis with artichokes on a bed of ratatouille.

The highlight will be mellow beef in sauce with peas, carrots and sour potato, and dessert will be a symphony of chocolates.

Among the chefs who will prepare the menu are Thomas Ecija, chef and owner of Restaurant El Albero (Ceuta);

Freddy Salmeron, chef of the Hotel Nelva;

July Velandrino, participant TopChef 3;

Sergio Martinez, chef Keki Tapería;

David Muñoz's Restaurant Alborada;

Marian Thomas, chef and culinary consultant Fripozo Sebastian Lopez Rodriguez of Foodsion & Passion, and Juan Antonio García, chef of the restaurant at Hotel El Churra.

In preparing the dessert master chocolatier Tino Helguera responsible;

the baker Juan Antonio Serrano, Serrano Confectionery owner and chef of the Degree in Gastronomy Pablo Gomez, who will be accompanied by two students, Raquel and Vicente Cerda Trigueros, 3rd and 2nd Grade respectively.
