The councilor of the Municipal Socialist Group, Susana Hernandez, said Thursday that the area is again Youth, once again, the great abandoned by the PP government team in the city.

The socialist mayor has indicated that the budget for Youth translates to 16.6 euros per youth in Murcia, taking into account the population aged 14 to 30 who, according to the National Statistics Institute, is about 93,000 people.

"This is the photo of PP fixed for years. Our young people need policies to encourage their formation and facilitate their access to employment, and this requires a better budget and be clear that youth is our present and our future as municipality, "said Hernandez.

In the investment chapter, the councilor of the PSOE regretted that only 50,000 euros intended, "which involves an investment of just over fifty cents per youth in our town. It's a ridiculous budget that tiptoes above our needs of the most educated generation. "

"From the Municipal Socialist Group understand that the best policy is one that Youth commitment to improving opportunities for youth, the possibility of getting a decent job and to emancipate" said Susana Hernandez, who added that the Budget Crossbow equipment not covered any of this and that "the PP youth has never seemed to be important."

Crumbs for education

Regarding the budget for education, the PSOE mayor has criticized the Department responsible forget "that many students of the municipality of Murcia suffer lacks neither the Council nor the City Council resolved: lack of classrooms, confinement to barracks, lack of materials and school textbooks, problems to meet the cost of school meals ... ".

"The Department of Education must have priorities, the main one is that not a single child who needs scholarship runs out dining or go to school without school supplies and textbooks. The Socialist Group amendments to these budgets reflect the needs of thousands of children in our town that deserve access to quality education and conditions, "he insisted Hernandez.

"On the other hand -HA concejala- he explained the council is responsible for the maintenance of schools and must be concerned that the facilities present at least decent conditions and fight for quality public education. There are too many claims for obsolete facilities in which it has invested little or nothing in the past 20 years and they need more than the facelift that the PP in summer "

"Nor has it done anything in the last 20 years by investing in nursery schools in the municipality. Moreover, in two decades has not been created or a new nursery school, but one of them went, that of La Paz, where our children are kept in barracks for eight years. These budgets are more of the same in previous years, "he concluded the mayor of the PSOE, who also recalled that in the budgets of the PP" lack a game aimed at creating pre-primary places with public prices "
