Agreement between the Department of Employment and former employees of the Night Service Information (15/12/2015)

Councilman Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesus Pacheco, and the representatives of the former employees of the Service Reporters at night came to an agreement yesterday to end concentrations latter had been doing for some weeks.

Thus, former employees participate in paid training programs in order that they are suitably qualified professionally.

The aim is that, once completed, can be included within public contracts promoted by the Employment Service and other municipal services, as to the inclusion of social clauses.

This will require companies to compete in municipal contracts within staffing requirements that each contract requires for its realization, people from training programs conducted by the Employment Service, at a rate of 10 to be employed and 30%.

They will also have during the period of employment training with a set of complementary activities that enable them to improve their personal situation face to find paid employment, through the offer that is managed from the Service concerning the request from companies or through self-employment workers.

The expected duration is 12 months but may be extended up to 24 depending on the budgets that exist for the realization of the training and work activity itself.

Its theme will vary according to the needs, interests and capabilities of forming this group.

To carry out this training program the council has reserved a round of 2.013 million euros.

Pacheco explained that "from the government team have put all our efforts to solve the problems of these former employees and we have reached this agreement which benefits all"
