The Murcia City Swimming Club has been present in the regional championship of Andalusia Winter Open Masters in the pool The Fuentezuelas of Jaen.
A total of 14 swimmers Murcia City Swimming Club have fought in Jaen to get medal in the Open Masters Swimming Championships in Andalusia, held this past weekend.
This championship has had 552 swimmers, but only a few have managed to medal, although all have won recognition from the audience.
Our swimmers harvested 3 silver medals in women's 800 free, 100 free one female silver, 2 bronze medals in women's 200 Backstroke, one gold and one bronze in 200m butterfly female, 1 bronze in women's 4x50 Styles, 2 bronze medals in women's 400 free 1 in women's 100m butterfly gold, 1 silver in the 100m breaststroke female is the incredible result of our team.
With this result, and after considering all the relevant points, our club has been ranked in 14th place out of 44 participating clubs.
Once again the name of Murcia as a swimmer city and one of its teams, Murcia City Swimming Club, have sounded in the sports arena and have obtained a deserved recognition from attendees.
With only two years, this club is still struggling to grow with its philosophy of team aspires to everything in the upcoming European Championships Masters, to be held in London next May.
