The City rewards good ideas for new businesses (14/12/2015)

The Mayor has delivered this morning the prizes to the winners of the XXIII Contest of Business Projects.

An application that acts as a digital library for the University and a children's polyclinic have won first and second prize of the contest, which this year distributed 60,000 euros in prize money.

The Mayor, José Ballesta, has delivered this morning the awards recognizing good business ideas submitted to Business Project Competition, an initiative with which the Council aims to support technically and financially assist entrepreneurs Murcia in the early stages of implementation conduct of its business.

The XXIII edition of the event, which also has aimed to encourage self-employment and job creation, has distributed 60,000 euros in prize money, to two training grants for the two best proposals add up.

This call has been presented 43 projects from the perspective of its promoters, have all the necessary ingredients to become a business and, to achieve this, have sought technical and financial support of the City.

The jury, chaired by Councilman Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesus Pacheco, was made up of a representative of each municipal group, a technician of the Employment Service;

a representative of the Amusal, OMEP, Ucomur, AJE, Chamber of Commerce of Murcia, WAS, Word Choice and Education CCOO, first prize in the last edition organizations.

The list of winners in this edition are:

1st Prize, worth € 11,000: INECC: Alejandro Lopez Máiquez.

2nd Prize, worth 9,000 €: Child and General "Pines" Dental Polyclinic.

3rd Prize, worth 6,000 €: Acho than good.

Marketing and distribution of a wide range of products, snacks and appetizers, supported by viral marketing strategies and new technologies.

3rd Prize, worth 6,000 €: Where Are Pets (WAP Diary).

Mobile application for pet care management, which allows to take a day basic care as required and configure all warnings and advice of the veterinary team.

Possible enlargement and integration with software for management of veterinary clinics compliant with the mobile application.

Marketing of products and services aimed at programmers and other professionals of information technology, which facilitates the task of programmers.

Processing and marketing of toys made with sheep wool certified.

Biosakure.

Cristina Jimenez and Luis Garcia Giralda.

Manufacture and sale of natural cosmetics, skin and hair, made using traditional methods and natural products.

Arza space.

Florentina Osete Madrid.

Provides rental housing still dependent not shared, or over 30 seniors with dependents, while responding to economic and / or psychological needs.

In addition to the 60,000 euros that will distribute prizes, the competition offers a scholarship of 3,600 euros for attending the course Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in the 2016/17 edition and another grant of 1,500 euros to participate during the program executive in business management, both issued by the University-Enterprise Foundation for the winner and runner.

All participants can benefit from the advice of the staff of the Centre for Training and Employment Initiatives and the Center for Municipal Initiatives.

Also promoted by the City Council, we have selected 10 projects which are the subject of tutoring, participating in the project business assessment and value proposition, which is taught in the CIM-M, and in which the model of commercial activity is addressed The economic and financial situation, organization, motivation etc.

In addition, an external diagnosis, given by ENAE, Business School, analyzed the sector, competition and other elements is performed.
