The regional government has approved a proposal of the Ministry of Public Works and Infrastructure, a grant of 1,046,122 euros to the City of Murcia to continue the implementation of the project of urban regeneration and renewal of the district of Los Rosales in the hamlet of Murcia Palmar, allowing the rehabilitation of 379 homes.
Specifically, it is a subsidy that is part of the performance of the Area Regeneration and Urban Renewal (ARRU), which will allow the renovation of housing and the urban environment of that neighborhood and is endowed with a total investment of 2,846 000 euros.
This will follow the provisions of the bilateral agreement committing December 17, 2014, within the State Plan for Development of rental housing, the edificatoria rehabilitation and regeneration and urban renewal 2013-2016.
The overall amount of the project is 2,846,000 euros, of which the state contributes 996 100, the Community 250,022 euros, distributed in two annuities, and the city of Murcia 1,599,877 euros.
The aim of this action is to solve the poor construction conditions in buildings and urban spaces in this neighborhood, associated with situations of social exclusion, which require integrated action for a substantial change occurs in the lives of their neighbors.
The duration of the planned actions ending December 31, 2016.
