The poet, mathematician, essayist, translator and environmental Spanish Jorge Riechmann participate next Wednesday, December 9, in the series "Seminars Rector" with a debate and concert entitled "We are to live differently: ecosocialism, poetry and self. "
Riechmann, who is Professor of Moral Philosophy at the Autonomous University of Madrid, will talk about his latest book "Autoconstrucción. The cultural transformation we need," and read excerpts from his extensive poems and essays.
The event, which will be attended by the rector of the University of Murcia, José Orihuela, will take place, starting at 19:00 pm in the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Arts, Merced campus, under the direction of Professor Jose Sebastian Carrion.
