Student at the University of Murcia Cristina Ruiz Bernal has been awarded by the Inycom Chair of the University of Zaragoza in a study in which the impact of Internet use has on people with social anxiety, especially in teenagers is analyzed.
The winning project is working to Masters Clinical Psychology and Health, the author conducted at the University of Murcia under the supervision of Professor Ana Isabel Rosa Alcázar.
The jury has valued the importance to society of a study that explores the relationship between social relationship problems, psychological wellbeing and use of Internet in a sample of Spanish adolescents.
The award, with a prize of 3,000 euros, was presented today at the Rector of the University of Murcia, in a ceremony presided over the president of this institution, José Orihuela, and which was also attended by the rector of Transfer, Entrepreneurship and Employment, Francisca Thomas.
This Chair, a collaboration between the University of Zaragoza and Inycom technology company, aims the promotion of the R & D and promotion of innovation, technology and quality.
