The Councillor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, received this morning at 8 Murcia Murcia students who will represent Spain in Taekwondo championship for clubs.

Athletes who will represent us are;

Samuel Ferrer Martinez (Children's -32kg.), Pablo Ceron Buenavista (Pre-cadet -44kg.), Jose Raul Jimenez Roman (cadet -57kg.), Francisco Javier Galvez Garnes (cadet -57kg.), Alvaro Ramirez Torralba (Junior - 55kg.), Sergio Fenoll Buendia (Junior -68 kg.), Juan Miguel Jiménez Román (Junior -73 kg.) and Beatriz Nunez Campillo (Junior -49 kg.)

"Murcia will be represented in this tournament, to be held from 4 to 7 December in Benicassim, for the eight athletes of the Child categories, Pre-Cadet, Cadet and Junior, as part of the program Sport Old Hall School Murcia ", explained the Councillor for Sports and Health.

This event was attended by a total of 891 competitors in the cadet and junior categories, and 457 in the Children and Pre-cadet categories, representing clubs around the country.

Thus, "our athletes are measured with the best Taekwondo national and international scene, since it is recalled that Spain is the current Olympic champion in Taekwondo and a major global powers", said Coello.

Coello has indicated that three of the athletes who will represent the Club Taekwondo Murcia, Samuel Ferrer Martinez (Children's -32kg.), Pablo Ceron Buenavista (Pre-cadet -44kg.) And Beatriz Nunez Campillo, Scholars are in the Regional Modernization Program , combining their training at the club, with training scheduled in the High Performance Center in Los Narejos.

In addition, "foreign athletes listed as national modernization program, potential future to enjoy being a scholarship at the CTD internal Infanta Cristina del Mar Menor" stressed Coello.

Finally, Coello mentioned the recent bronze medal obtained by Beatriz Nunez Campillo in Spain Junior Championship 2015 and the gold obtained by Samuel Ferrer Martinez and Pablo Ceron Buenavista Leagues combat child Murcia and Valencian Community.
