This morning continued the 'II academic and expert on international terrorism and security in southern Europe Days' at the Catholic University of Murcia, starting with the presentation "The ongoing transformation of Jihadism in Spain' offered by Professor UNED Carlos Echeverría and moderated by the Director General of Planning and Housing of the CARM, Nuria Fuentes.

Professor UNED Carlos Echeverría, pointed out that "Spain is leading the capture of jihadists in the European Union in 2015, with 91 arrests, having a total of 165 detainees in four years in our country."

Echeverría explained that "the main centers of detention of persons associated with jihadism are Ceuta, Melilla, Catalonia and Levante area."

After the conference was held a round table has reflected on terrorism in Europe, entitled 'The Daesh, Islamic, State and current situation'.

In this debate were present Javier Jordán, professor of the University of Granada and José María Blanco, director of the Center for Exploration of the Civil Guard, which have been moderated by the Vice President for International Relations and Communication UCAM, Pablo Blesa.

Javier Jordán explained what it is and what the Daesh jihadist group.
