The Hall of Comic of the University of Murcia brings the artist Mique Beltran, author of Cleopatra (25/11/2015)

Comicum, the Hall of Comic of the University of Murcia directing Juan Alvarez and Jorge Gómez, has organized for November 26 meeting with Mique Beltran, author of "Cleopatra".

It will be in Room Mariano Baquero of the Faculty of Arts (Campus de la Merced), to 19 hours.

Mique Beltran (Mique) began his work as a cartoonist in 1980 in the magazine "Star" and "Besame Mucho".

In 1982 he created his most famous character: "Cleopatra" for the magazine Cairocrea his character as a draftsman for the magazine Cleopatra Cairo.

In 1990 he started in the small country, weekly supplement of the newspaper El País, the publication of "Marco Antonio".

Both figures: Cleopatra and Mark Antony were taken to the screen in the late nineties in the animated feature "Marco Antonio, rescue in Hong Kong".

Since then, its relations with the film intensified, and in 2002 founded the production company Endora Productions, with which it conducts a TV series with both characters.

In 2012, "Marco Antonio, complete work," a special edition that includes all the pages of his comic character was published.

In 1988 he received the haxtur award for "Best Short Story" for "Macao", the Cleopatra series, the International Comic Fair of Asturias Gijon.
