Public Works and used electric motorcycle in its displacement (24/11/2015)

Every day more citizens, companies and public bodies are passed electric mobility attracted by its many advantages such as economy of use and maintenance, the absence of polluting emissions and noise and great versatility.

This was the case of the Department of Public Works, which manages Roque Ortiz, whose staff already use an electric motorcycle thanks to Electra project in which the City participates by virtue of the collaboration agreement signed with the Spanish company sales and distribution electric motorcycles' emissions 00 and the city of Murcia.

The staff of the Department of Public Works has decided to use the electric motorcycle in their daily routine and travel to the city.

Aware of the need to get around the city a clean and sustainable way, the staff of the Department of Public Works has decided to use the electric motorcycle model Vmoto E-Max 120S which markets such distributor 'Emissions 00'.

This vehicle, with only 3.5 hours of charging is capable of reaching a range of between 40 and 60 kilometers allowing users to move intensively around the city without having to worry about recharging and assuming a lower cost of electricity consumption 1 euros per 100 kilometers

In view of this initiative, the city of Murcia continues its line of work in the field of electric mobility enhanced by the ELECTRA Project, which manages the ALEM Service, Local Agency for Energy and Climate Change Murcia and aims to increase the use electric motorcycle in our city.

Through this gesture, the staff of the Department of Public Works wants to convey a message to Murcia support electric mobility and an example of how to keep our streets free of pollution and noise.
