The University of Murcia (UMU) today provided an institutional condolences over the terrorist attacks in Paris last Friday to hundreds of students and professors who study French and stays in the educational institution.
During the ceremony, which took place at the Faculty of Law, one of the French students have read the letter from the rector of the University of Murcia, José Orihuela, sent to their counterparts in the universities of the Gallic country.
In the letter, Orihuela transmits them unconditional support of the University of Murcia and the strongest revulsion at the terrorist acts that took place in your country, and remember the many ties that bind the educational institution with France.
"Our thoughts are with the families of the victims of the horror," concludes the letter from the rector, who has also been accompanied by the Minister of Education and Universities, Maribel Sanchez-Mora, and academic authorities.
