The Mayor suggests that executives of Industrial West link the training to their employment needs (17/11/2015)

Ballesta has shown to representatives of ECCE facilities and functioning of the Training Center of the City of El Palmar, which come every day more than 200 unemployed people to participate in qualification programs.

Besides knowing the workshops of various specialties, they have also shared a lunch prepared by the students served by the kitchen and restaurant.

More than 200 people come every day to the Center for Training and Employment Initiatives Murcia City Council located in El Palmar to attend one of the programs that are taught there and get a professional qualification that allows them to channel their working life.

There has moved the Mayor, José Ballesta, who wanted to show the activity that takes place there the representatives of the Association of the Industrial West (ECCE), located within walking distance this morning.

Apart from Ballesta, the delegation was formed by Council -delegado Jesus Pacheco Employment, Tourism and Culture, Roque Ortiz and Antonio Navarro -of -Urbanismo Fomento, Environment and Huerta.

Among the entrepreneurs attended the presidents of ECCE, Antonio Castillo, and conservation entity polygon, Francisco Cabrera.

At present, in the center of El Palmar is underway four lines of training:

- Joint For Youth (Old Schools workshop) Training with 38 students / workers on 5 specialties Employment Agenda: plumbing and heating operations-domestic air conditioning, installation and maintenance of low voltage electrical installations, masonry factories, auxiliary operations of continuous coatings construction and installation and maintenance of gardens and parkland.

- Joint Employment Training Program for Seniors (Old Workshop on Employment): 38 students in courses of kitchen, bar and cafeteria services and bakery and confectionery.

Both programs provide joint training and a training contract with salary.

- Vocational training: 7 courses with 105 students in the categories of kitchen, energy efficiency of buildings, painting of vehicles, installation of auxiliary power grids and electrical installations and telecommunications, catering and ancillary nursery, gardens and garden centers .

Besides training, students complete internships in partner companies.

- First Program qualification for Youth: 34 students in courses of basic operations of flats for housing, auxiliary mechanical manufacturing operations and auxiliary maintenance of vehicle bodies.

Together these three groups in El Palmar, there are other 5 groups in the center at the FICA.

In addition to classroom lectures to develop the CFIE has extensive facilities for practices of different professional profiles.

To do this, students have related buildings for construction (plumbing, electricity, air conditioning, etc.), vehicle workshops, catering and kitchen work.

Precisely these pupils have been commissioned to prepare and serve a tasting menu prepared by them, which have also been in charge of the assembly room, located in the same training center.
