Councillor for Finance and Procurement submitted a proposal which will implement projects that define "the model of city we want to Murcia: respectful with our roots, modern and committed to the welfare of the people."

The draft budget, amounting to 404 million includes funding to develop strategic projects such as the AVE, the recovery site of St. Stephen and their environment, the old prison, the artillery barracks or Huerta Plan.

The circular line of the Coast, the plan of libraries and reading rooms are some of the planned actions.

"Lost Murcia Murcia, with the development of actions that allow to build a modern city and prepared for the future, respecting and claiming our roots" are the axes that define the draft budgets of the City for next year prepared by the Department of Finance and Procurement.

Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, responsible for the area, today presented the outline of the project, carried out with the aim of "promoting new actions that will move towards a city of opportunity, with canons of modernization and digitalization necessary to offer a better service and above all, a city open and committed people. "

To do this, the proposal of the government team foresees a budget for the City of 404,438,040 euros, representing an increase of 1.13% over the current.

This growth reached 8.18% in the case of investments, to be located in almost 31 million euros.

However, the actual investment capacity will be 20 million euros, due to the possibility of using the remaining cash.
