The University Community Centre (campus of Espinardo) of the University of Murcia hosts this Monday, November 16, a conference on gender violence, which has organized the School of Nursing in collaboration with the Unit for Equality between Women and Men the educational institution.
After the opening ceremony, to be led by Vice Chancellor for Students, Quality and Equality, Miguel Angel Perez, a lecture by the director general of the Ministry of Women, Family and Equal Opportunities, Alicia Barquero will be held.
Subsequently, a round-table discussion moderated by the coordinator of the day, the teacher Florentina Pina, address issues such as the legal medical diagnosis of gender violence, the psychological consequences on the victims or the resources available in the Region of Murcia affected women.
In addition, the exhibition "Stereotypes, Older Women and Gender Violence" by pupils and students in the third year of the Degree in Nursing is displayed
