Degree in Gastronomy UCAM (09/11/2015)

The television program participant TopChef has worked in the kitchens of the Center for Tourism Qualification Murcia to cook with students of hospitality and cuisine

This morning began at the Center for Tourism Qualification Murcia (CCT) the second seminar of the series "Entre Chefs" created by the San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia.

This time the chef in charge of guiding the students has been the Murcian cook Velandrino July, which after leaving the television program TopChef still lectures among students of Gastronomy in Spain.

The event was attended by students of second and third year of the Degree in Gastronomy and several students UCAM Hospitality CCT itself.

After three and a half hours cooking, the students have created a replica of one of the most famous dishes of two Michelin stars, Rodrigo de la Calle, with the help of Murcia chef and professor at the Catholic University, Pablo Gomez.

The dish was composed of various vegetables such as cabbage, lettuce or potatoes in addition to creating a pork dish design with products of the Region of Murcia, Murcia concept advocated by the chef.

The cycle "Chefs" will continue next December 14 with the participation of another chef, yet to be confirmed.
