The relationship between the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Murcia and the company, on the 75th anniversary of the center (09/11/2015)

The Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Murcia held tomorrow, Tuesday, a panel discussion in which the relationship of this university center with companies throughout its 75 years of existence will be analyzed.

The anniversary commemorates the School these days with various activities organized by Chemical Week, which will culminate on Saturday, the feast of San Alberto Magno, patron of the center.

Every day has scheduled a lecture by an invited personality, corresponding to the Angel Irabien tomorrow, Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Cantabria and Spanish representative of the European Federation in Chemical Engineering, whose presentation will focus on chemistry and sustainability (11:15 hours).

In addition to the roundtable (12:30), there will be talks in tandem mode taught by professors from the Faculty: Alberto Requena-Isabel Saura (9:15) and Antonio Donaire-Pedro Molina (10:00 h).

All activities will take place in the auditorium Hermenegildo Castro Lumeras Faculty, Campus Espinardo.

Today, Monday, opening day, the guest lecture by former president of the Royal Academy of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences Alberto Galindo, has addressed the centenary of General Relativity.

Similarly, we have held conferences in tandem (Margineda-Jose Joaquin Ortuño, Jaime Colchero-Pablo Artal) and recreational physical activities and historical experiments of physics, by Rafael Garcia Molina and Antonio Guirao, respectively.
