The Councillor for Traffic and Public Safety, Lola Sanchez, held this morning a meeting with the Minister of Presidency, Maria Dolores Pagan, to establish different lines of action in order to improve the Civil Protection Service.
Thus, among the various issues discussed, it was the collaboration for the realization of Special Plans Risk, with the immediate start of an earthquake and floods.
They have also studied the possibility of drawing up an agreement with the Emergency Management and public health emergencies with which already collaborates actively with an ambulance Life Support Advanced with a staff of nurses and two technicians Health Emergencies service guard 24 hours every Saturday, Sunday and holidays of the year.
The Civil Protection Service has a total of 130 volunteers distributed in different units such as the Preventive Health Unit, Unit Psychological First Aid, Rescue Unit, and Intervention Unit and Logistics Unit and Transfer.
