Stimulating the imagination through the creation of images in the mind is the subject of the doctoral thesis defended at the Faculty of Education at the University of Murcia by the artist and writer Teresa Navarro Murcia.

The research, which uses the zone of proximal development as work space and intertextuality and interdisciplinarity as teaching resources has been carried out with the picture book "Concertina and the Dragon", created for this experiment by the author herself.

The results of the study, which has been rated as outstanding cum laude, are taken from drawings by primary school students from Spain and Morocco.
