UCAM Nearly a thousand athletes participating in the traditional floral offering to the Virgin of Fuensanta (04/11/2015)

Nearly a thousand athletes, technicians and managers of the teams linked to the Catholic University of Murcia held the traditional floral offering to the Virgin of Fuensanta at the beginning of the sports season.

It is a representation of the more than 4,500 athletes are linked to the UCAM among elite athletes, federal, university and base.

José Luis Mendoza, president of the UCAM;

Cartagena Bishop Monsignor Jose Manuel Lorca Planes;

and Pablo Rosillo, CEO of Sports of the UCAM, participated in a ceremony that reflects the progressive growth of support for sport by the UCAM: from elite sport clubs as represented by UCAM Murcia CB (Liga Endesa) or UCAM Murcia CF (Second B) to grassroots sport.

Discilplinas football as varied as basketball, handball, football, volleyball, canoeing, swimming, table tennis, athletics and cycling were represented by twenty teams present at the event.
