Drones, robots and 3D printing come together in the Science Week (03/11/2015)

Through 10 stands, and more than twenty activities, the Catholic University of Murcia actively participate from next Friday November 6 to Sunday 8 in the Week of Science and Technology 2015, which will be installed in the Garden Botanical Malecon.

At the event, organized by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Business and Innovation of the CARM, and the Seneca Foundation, the different degrees of the Polytechnic School of the UCAM science closer to all public attendees.

Selfie

The photo booths have evolved over the years and adapted to new technologies, as may at the stand 'selfie & Fun', which will install one that allows knowing how the system works, and make pictures, upload them to a social network and print at the same instant.

Another activity that will expose the UCAM in Science Week will offer visitors the opportunity to make level measurements in decibels sounds that generate their own voices or instruments or supplied materials.

The information obtained will allow them to determine the level of noise pollution.

In another institution stands, visitors can see first hand the potential of drones in the world of architecture, archeology, restoration and heritage;

for it will have a camera-equipped quadricopter.

Week of Science will not miss 3D printing, hand Degree in Telecommunications Systems of the Catholic, who will present a three-dimensional scanner designed by the institution.

'A robot in your life is the title of another of the activities.

In it, attendees will learn the use and applications of robotics in various real-life tasks, and can ride your own robot.
