José Luis Mendoza, president of the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) and Fran Mauri, provincial and regional deputy coordinator of the Association of the Corps of Prison Administration (ACAIP) have signed a cooperation agreement to promote training in this sector.
Therefore, all members receive information ACAIP Degree in Criminology at the UCAM, which will have a discount.
In addition, both institutions are committed to collaborate in research, organization of conferences or training courses and develop training activities aimed at training professionals in active and to access new titles of European Higher Education Area.
After signing the agreement, José María Caballero, vice dean of the Degree in Criminology at the UCAM, he was satisfied because "we signed with ACAIP which has over 17,000 members and we had expressed interest in initialling of this agreement to achieve conditions similar to those with bodies such as the Civil Guard and the National Police, which have special requirements when enrolling. In this case, the Degree in Criminology gives the possibility of promoting within Prison and is also interesting the Master of Science Safety and Criminology is totally related to this sector. "
