The Municipal Group Socialist councilor in the city of Murcia, Juan Vicente Larrosa, and the representative of the PSOE in El Esparragal, have demanded Thursday the City of Murcia the immediate installation of a traffic light manual key to prevent accidents at the entrance to the cemetery in the hamlet.
Larrosa and Perez require operation of this semaphore before 1 November, in anticipation of the influx of people visiting the cemetery on All Saints Day.
"Access to the cemetery is located after a hump and the exit of a corner Andres Perez explained -, which, coupled with excessive speed may cause a disgrace any day."
From the Municipal Board, the socialist members have requested on several occasions over recent years which operate this light, without, for the moment, the city of Murcia have fixed the problem.
Also on the subject of All Saints Day, the PSOE requires the City of Murcia to allocate to a local police to regulate traffic on the access to the cemetery, necessary to ensure the safety of large numbers of residents who visit the place that day.
