José Luis Munuera, one of the cartoonists of the Region of Murcia with more projection abroad, speak at one of the meetings ComicUm Cycle, organized by the Hall of Comics at the University of Murcia, directed by Juan Alvarez and Jorge Gómez.
It will be on Thursday 22 October in Room Mariano Baquero (Faculty of Arts, Campus de La Merced), 19:00.
Born in Lorca, José Luis Munuera is one of the authors of national comics most internationally.
Influenced by the French comic, especially Asterix and by Spirou and Fantasio (characters that drew on several of his albums and earned him the award Bédélys in Canada).
Munuera is in possession of such important awards as the best work of Spanish author International Comic Barcelona in 2009 for "The Moon game" or the Best Comic in the Grand Prix de l'Imaginaire in 2012 by "Fraternity".
The Campbells, the story of a pirate who returns to the path of piracy, after having left to raise her two daughters, is his latest creation.
