The councilman of Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz, inaugurated this morning the first days 'Women of Murcia and Rural Huerta: Challenges and Opportunities', organized by the city of Murcia on the occasion of the International Day of Rural Women, to which was attended by over a hundred women.

These seminars aim to draw attention to the role of women in Murcia, in the garden and the countryside, and opportunities they face and to facilitate a meeting between the various associations of women in the municipality, and publicize projects to empower them in these rural areas.

Ruiz Caballero stressed the great affluence to the event, attended by women from 65 women's centers around the city of Murcia.
